01.Purpose
DevWhisp is committed to a workplace where people feel valued, respected, and able to do their best work. We believe diverse teams make better products. This code sets out how we treat each other, our clients, and anyone who works with us.
02.Scope
This code applies to employees, contractors, vendors, and others working with DevWhisp. It covers recruiting, day-to-day collaboration, client work, training, and promotion.
03.Equality and non-discrimination
We are an equal-opportunity team. We do not discriminate or harass on the basis of race, colour, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, age, disability, nationality, ethnic origin, marital status, or any other characteristic protected by law. Hiring and project decisions are based on skill, judgement, and the needs of the work.
04.How we work together
- Recruitment stays fair and open, so people have a real chance to join and grow.
- Training and stretch work are available without favouritism.
- We keep a direct, respectful culture. Disagreement is welcome; contempt is not.
- We make reasonable accommodations so people can do their jobs well.
05.Responsibilities
Leads model the standard and address problems early. They do not look away when someone is treated badly.
Everyone is expected to treat colleagues and clients with respect, and to speak up if they see discrimination or harassment.
06.Harassment and bullying
We have no tolerance for harassment or bullying, including verbal, physical, or visual conduct that makes the workplace hostile or unsafe. Anyone who engages in it will face action, up to ending the engagement.
07.Reporting
If you experience or witness a breach of this code, tell a lead or email hello@devwhisp.com. Reports are taken seriously and looked into promptly. Nobody will be punished for raising a genuine concern.
08.Review
We will revisit this code as the company grows, and we welcome feedback on how to make it clearer or stronger.
